Models

Models – structures and instruments meant to guide behaviours and actions. Things that are most certainly, an idealist’s paradise.

But wait.

  1. How do you mould behaviours for a specie whose definitive traits are saturated with whims and subjective undertakings.
  1. Models themselves are not things of perpetual universal validity. They are and should be subject to continuous scrutiny. Even those emanating from unverified divine sources (insert a non-theist smirk 😏).

So what’s point?

  1. Not regarding these models as untouchable overarching behaviour enforcers.
  2. Reassessment of the implementation of these models from the perspective of a society whose constituents are heavily diversified.
  1. A continuous scrutiny of these models irrespective of their sources.
  2. “Modularised” implementation of these models in contrast to a mass one. And that any mass implementation should be advised by a thorough analysis of the nuances of a society’s constituents.

Case study:

When one school of thought encourages us to: be ourselves, stand out, be unique, don’t follow the crowd…

And yet another school of thought dumps on us an avalanche of rules and behaviour enforcers!

How? I mean how? 😊
